The Idea

The idea behind WE_The_Movie is simple. It’s a movie about people who are triggering the greater WE.

Technology has changed our lives. More than ever we are now all connected.
People who’ve never been heard before, now have a voice.
Expressions we’ve never heard of, we now share.
We are making friends all over the world. Friends we trust but whom we’ve never met in person.
Those networks with weak and strong ties seem to create new patterns.
Patterns we don’t know or only partially know from the non digital world.

WE are convinced that this is changing the world we are living in.
It has already changed the world.
And many people we’ve spoken to believe this as well.

we-magazine is all about this WE-driven change.
WE started it 3 years ago.
Although it’s being read in more than 100 countries worldwide on a constant basis, the WE_community is still a small community.
But WE think it’s big enough to start reaching for WE_The_Movie.
Same topic. Different channel.

WE want you to submit your videos to WE_The_Movie.
Talk about or tell us about or show us YOUR understanding of WE.
Scenes, which describe the WE or the change driven by the WE.

In August 2012 WE’ll screen all the material, shoot additional footage if necessary and produce the first sequence of WE_The_Movie.

If WE are lucky it will be broadcast on TV.
It definitely will be spread on the WEB.

So better now than later, get up and submit your story!
